The client based in close to Cardiff city centre are presently recruiting for a hands-on Head Chef to lead their operation and to help maintain their standards for the award winning restaurant.

The hotel has approx 100 bedrooms with casual all day dining restaurant serving modern menu with traditional items and multi national cuisine.

There is also various meeting and events rooms for up to 200 guests with planned menus as well as the ability for input from the Head Chef to create menus for clients.

You will be working with an established and settled team of chefs & and to create a positive work environment for the team as well as other departments in the hotel.

As Head Chef you will lead the team, ensuring the food is served to a high standard and quality, all health & safety aspects of the business are compliant & undertake the training/recruitment of future kitchen team members ranging from KP’s to all levels of chefs in the kitchen.

The client requires the chef to work 45 hours per week over 5 days, shift start times can vary depending on the needs and requirements of the business.

Salary: £40,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
