General Restaurant Manager – Chester area

Presently recruiting for this well located restaurant based in the Chester area.

This well known and highly regarded restaurant and bar has gone from strength to strength over recent times and was developed during the lockdowns as an alternative venue that offers guests a great location offering super food and drink.

As General Restaurant Manager you will manage the day to day operations working with the team and be able to offer and ensure a great guest experience working with a dedicated team.

The food is modern British with approx 70 covers inside and the same as an outside dining experience.

The bar is a high end cocktail bar that caters to both diners and also general market attracting clients looking for something different as a choice away from the high street.

It also caters to events and private parties this includes events and ,weddings for up to approx 150 + guests.

You will be managing the day to day operations of the venue working with and supporting all team members with a mix of full time and casual staff and to maintain a close positive working relationship with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure a great guest experience.
You will also manage all finances to ensure the you are achieving financial targets that includes sales,control of wage costs as well as achieving agreed wet GP margins.
You will also be able to offer great training and development in order that each team member is also able to work towards the high standards at all times.
Reporting to the Hotel Manager this role will suit an individual looking for their next positive career step.
£38k,benefits,bonus and career development.
