General Manager – West Sussex
Looking for an international hotel company who are looking to recruit for a General Manager for this 100 + bedroom hotel based in the West Sussex area.
The hotel is well located with both corporate and leisure markets as part of the main hotel business which along with the 100 + bedrooms also offers multiple F&B outlets which includes a casual dining 120 cover restaurant and main hotel bar.
In addition there are facilities within the hotel’s conference area to cater for up to 200 + guests in the largest suite as well as various other C&B rooms from a boardroom for 2 up to private dining and conference rooms for 50 + delegates for residential functions.
As the General Manager your role is to lead and manage the team to deliver a great guest service in all areas of the hotel and work with and support the HOD’s to drive and develop their departments as well as being able to offer ongoing training and development for all team members.
The hotel also offers various sport and leisure activities with gym,pool and golf and this is open to both hotel guests as well as local residents and also offers limited F&B services away from the hotel.
You will also oversee the hotel P&L and take responsibility to ensure this is being delivered by driving sales and revenue targets as well as controlling costs in line with the budget,this will include managing wage costs as well as making sure the relevant HOD’s are aware of their department costs and this will also involve wet and food GP margins.
Reporting to the Regional Director and to attend when required management meeting for the company that may require travel and overnight stay.
£70k,excellent bonus,benefits
