General Manager – South Yorkshire area
We have a new vacancy today for a client with operations across the UK and as part of an international group who are looking for a General Manager for their site in the South Yorkshire area.
The hotel offers 120 bedrooms with large F&B operations that includes a casual dining restaurant and bar as well as various M&E rooms within the hotel with the largest suite able to accommodate up to 200 + guests as well as a number of other rooms available including smaller boardrooms.
Also the hotel has gym/leisure club and this is available to hotel guests and local residents of the area as leisure club members paying either a monthly or yearly fee.
You will be a hands on General Manager and be responsible for the day to day running of the business along with a number of HOD’s as direct line reports and also manage the hotel’s budget and sales targets to achieve in line with company figures.
Reporting direct to the Regional Director and regular update meetings and calls this role ideally requires an individual with working experience of a hotel with sales of £5 M + and also the ability to manage large and complex teams.
