This well known and highly regarded hospitality company are presently looking to recruit for a hands on General Manager for this iconic venue in the Cheltenham area.
The operation is well placed to attract the local and transient markets to deliver great food and drinks and to drive and develop the business from it’s present position and to make it one of the landmarks in the local scene.
The General Manager role is to lead the day to day business and ensure a high standard of guest care and experience at all times.
Working with a focused and dedicated team to assist you and you support them with ongoing training and development and for each team member to take ownership of their role in the business.
To develop the market share through word of mouth and to use also social media and great guest feedback.
Manage all the back of house including costs for wages,purchasing for food and drink as well as the cost of the building and maintenance.
Working as part of the team to offer leadership and a focus for the team and operation and to deliver the financial results that the client is looking to achieve in this venue.
The offering is a high standard of food with approx 30/40% of sales and then the rest is a mix of good quality wines,cocktails and craft beers available to the guests.
Manage the team front and back of house and direct report to the MD of the group.
The site is also looking for a Head Chef to develop the food offering with a brasserie style concept using fresh and seasonal and ideally as much of the local areas produce as possible.
