Recruiting presently for this well known and highly regarded operation for a hands on General Manager.
The venue is a high end gastro pub with rooms serving modern British food using seasonal and generally as much local produce as possible.
Also offering clients great boutique style bedrooms with approx 10 rooms available in total as well as main bar area and during summer months there is also a garden area which is popular.
The General Manager role will require you to be hands on and manage the day to day operations of the business,work with and support the team and ensure high standards of guest service at all times.
The venue is a popular choice with the local population for general day to day food and drink and also has a reputation and is close enough to various local resident areas so a great customer base for food and drink.
Working to drive and develop the business day to day and to manage the costs for wages,food and drink purchasing in line with budgets and also to develop and increase the revenue through active sales across the area using the sales team as well as social media and marketing.
You will be the key stakeholder and work with and develop a positive team environment and to ensure all team members are trained and aware of standards required at all times this will be with ongoing training and development of all the team.
Reporting direct to the owners and management of the operation,this is a great chance to take on this operation.
