General Manager – North Yorkshire city location
Looking to recruit for a 5 star high end hands on General Manager for this bespoke hotel and restaurant operation based in North Yorkshire area.
The venue offers superbly appointed bedrooms as well as a an award winning restaurant and attracts both the city’s residents and is stong in the visiting customers market.
As General Manager you will lead and manage the day to day operations and team and be involved in all aspects of the business working with and supporting the team of over 50 + staff which is a mix of full time and casual team members.
You will have experience of managing and achieving a budget in excess of £2 M and the operation is presently above budget so you are taking on a well run and managed business and team.
You will offer training and development to all team members to ensure the high standards of food and service are maintained and work to achieve the company standards in all areas of the operation.
The unique setting and as well having a great array of beverages on sale including fine wines and cask ales,so it is important that you have knowledge of these and all financial aspects of the business.
Reporting to the Area Manager this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a great challenge as well as career development.
