General Manager – North Wales coast area
Presently recruiting for a client for a superb 4 star hotel in great location on the North Wales coast for a hands on General Manager.
The hotel has 100 + bedrooms and has undergone a refurbishment in last couple of years and also other facilities include AA rosette restaurant,cocktail bar and lounge area and additionally various conference rooms with the largest a capacity of 200 guests that is popular with weddings,events,Xmas functions and other boardrooms from 2 to 30 guests and the best views in the region.
The hotel attracts both the corporate & leisure markets with it’s links by road and rail to the region.
This client requires a hands on individual to lead the team day to day and ensure the highest service standards in all areas of the hotel and in addition both financial and commercial acumen to drive the business forward,with ability to manage all aspects of the business and to deliver budgets,sales and revenue as well to manage and drive a team to deliver as well as retention and create a super working environment.
Ideally the person will have a knowledge of working within a group operation but will also be responsible for the P&L and report to the Operations Director and with a working knowledge of managing a highly regarded hotel.
It is also important to be able to ensure through company support a trained and developed team to ensure the standards throughout all areas of the operation and working to company standards.
