Looking to recruit for a General Manager for an expanding group hotel with this hotel based in superb location on the North Wales coast.
The hotel boasts 100 bedrooms and all have been recently refurbished to a high standard as well as AA rosette restaurant,bar and lounge area as well as a function suite for up to 200 guests that is popular with weddings,events,Xmas functions etc and in addition also has various boardrooms from 2 to 30 guests and the best views in the region.
The hotel attracts both the corporate & leisure markets with it’s links by road and rail to the region.
This client requires a hands on individual to lead the team day to day and ensure the highest service standards in all areas of the hotel and in addition both financial and commercial acumen to drive the business forward,with ability to manage all aspects of the business and to deliver budgets,sales and revenue as well to manage and drive a team to deliver as well as retention and create a super working environment.
Ideally the person will have a knowledge of working within a group operation but will also be responsible for the P&L and report to the Operations Director and with a working knowledge of managing a highly regarded hotel.
It is also important to be able to ensure through company support a trained and developed team to ensure the standards throughout all areas of the operation and working to company standards.
