I am working with this leisure company with various operations across the UK who are looking to recruit a unique position within their business.
The vacancy requires a General Manager for an onsite Gastro Pub based at one of their high end sites in the region of North Liverpool.
The venue has been refurbished in the last year and is now looking for the right person to take the ownership and drive and develop the business to the owners of the site and to offer a 1st class service as well as food to the discerning clientele.
You will manage all aspects of the venue which opens from 9 am to 11 am offering a brunch menu and then an all day casual dining menu with traditional British menu choices and also a typical Roast Dinner for a Sunday.
The pub also has entertainment on offer again to attract the guests staying at the site and this also caters for the families during holidays and peak season.
As the General Manager you will be working with a team and be able to offer great food and service at all times,also responsible for recruitment and team development with ongoing training.
The other key areas you will manage will be the sales,all finances including wage costs and work to achieve agreed targets.
The site is open to guests for 50 weeks during the year and is generally busy most weekends with owners coming to the site.
Reporting to the Park Manager and as part of the senior team based on site you will engage and work with other managers and team members to understand the operation as well as keeping the park informed of ongoing events,menu changes etc.
