General Manager – Newcastle area
We are working with this client who has operations across the North West and North East of England and operates within both the branded and no branded hotel markets.
They are presently looking for a hands on General Manager for this branded hotel based in South Newcastle area and the candidate ideally from a branded background with strong F&B knowledge.
The site has 70 + bedrooms with 100 cover restaurant and bar as well as some M&E with the largest catering for up to 200 guests as well as other boardrooms that hosts from 40 to boardroom for 2 as well as leisure and spa facilities.
The client is needing a focused manager who can drive and develop the rooms and also food and beverage market and to increase revenue and net profit through a solid pricing structure and to attract clients from both the local corporate and leisure trade.
The hotel pre-covid had good occupancy and is slowly returning to the same levels with a good ARR and is at present on target to achieve this years budget.
Leading the team with the support of a Deputy Manager and HOD’s and reporting to the Directors of the company with regular updates face to face as well as email reporting and calls.
