General Manager – Cumbria
I am working with this independent operator with various outlets across the region within the hospitality market in hotels,restaurants,gastro pubs etc.
The company are at present seeking a key role within their portfolio,looking for one of their standards driven hotel venues in the Cumbria for a hands on General Manager.
The operation consists of 30 + boutique bedrooms as well as an award winning restaurant and also offers attractive functional outside area and also caters for weddings,events,parties etc within their function suite for up to 150 guests.
The venue is centrally located in a market town in the area and is popular with both local residents as well as catering to the tourist markets,it has great road links to the area and offers guests good traditional food and drink served to a high standard and also the bedroom are furnished to very high standards.
This is a real opportunity to take ownership of this recently refurbished venue and to be able to lead and manage the operation day to day working hands on in all areas of the business.
The location is well suited to walkers and day trippers as well as having a great reputation and the revenue is split between,food,rooms and drink.
The person will need to be able to develop and drive the business as a whole and use their market experience and knowledge.
Reporting to the Director of the company with responsibility for all sales,finances,costs and P&L accounts.
This is an opportunity for the person to join this growing group and ideally come from a similar background within boutique hotels or gastro pubs with rooms.
