Looking to recruit for a General Manager for a group hotel based in the Chester region with 100 bedrooms,casual dining main restaurant,main bar with food,multiple M&E rooms with the largest catering for 200 guests as well as various other boardrooms available and a leisure club which services hotel residents and a local membership.
The hotel benefits from a great location close to the major road networks in the region and offers superb facilities for both the corporate markets and also leisure which includes weddings,events,functions etc.
This is a hands on Manager role that the company requires as well as having the financial and commercial acumen to drive the business forward and for an individual with the ability to manage all aspects of the business and to deliver budgets,sales and revenue as well as a person able to manage and drive a team to deliver as well as retention and create a super working environment.
Ideally the person will have a knowledge of corporate group hotels and also the knowledge of managing leisure club services and experience of managing and achieving a budget in of £5M through all trading areas of the operation.
It is also important to be able to ensure through company support a trained and developed team to ensure the standards throughout all areas of the operation and working to company brand standards.
Reporting direct to the Regional Director this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a great challenge as well as career development.
