General Manager – Chester region
Looking to recruit for a General Manager for an expanding group hotel based in the Chester region with refurbished bedrooms,AA rosette restaurant,bar and lounge area as well as large function room for 150 guests and popular with weddings,events etc and other boardrooms also offers a leisure club and spa which services hotel residents and a local membership.
The hotel benefits from a lovely location with mature gardens great for wedding photos and also benefits from close links to major road networks in the region and attracts the corporate & leisure markets.
This is a hands on Manager role that the company requires as well as having the financial and commercial acumen to drive the business forward and for an individual with the ability to manage all aspects of the business and to deliver budgets,sales and revenue as well as a person able to manage and drive a team to deliver as well as retention and create a super working environment.
Ideally the person will have a knowledge of working within a group operation but will also be responsible for the P&L and report to the Operations Director and with a working knowledge of managing leisure club & spa.
It is also important to be able to ensure through company support a trained and developed team to ensure the standards throughout all areas of the operation and working to company brand standards.
