General Manager – Blackpool region
Looking to recruit for a General Manager for a group hotel based near Blackpool with 50 + bedrooms,restaurant dining and bar as well as function rooms with the largest for up to 80 guests.
The hotel is well located in the area for all the local attractions and also close to a number of golf courses and has recently been refurbished to a high standard.
The hotel is a popular choice in the leisure market and also benefits from some local corporate market.
The client requires a day to day hands on Manager and for an individual with the ability to manage all aspects of the business and to deliver budgets,sales and revenue as well as a person able to manage and drive a team to deliver as well as retention and create a super working environment.
Ideally the person will have a knowledge of the brand or at least branded hotels and the systems the hotels uses for front office,reservations etc.
It is also important to be able to train and develop all team members to ensure the high standards of food and service are maintained and work to achieve the company standards in all areas of the operation.
Reporting direct to the owner a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a great challenge as well as career development.
