Presently recruiting a General Manager for this beautiful rural pub with design standard bedrooms in the picturesque area of Northumberland.
The hotel has approx 30 + rooms as well as a popular restaurant with both hotel guests and the local residents and offers true hospitality in the various areas of the venue with a main bar and lounge as well as dedicated restaurant for dining.
The client is looking for a hands on person to lead and work with the operational team to ensure great customer service at all times,also manage the business to ensure to achieve the budget and profit margins agreed.
You will work with and assist the team and create a positive working environment for all team members including casual and part time staff and offer training and development of the teams and departments and as well as the the transient market create positive relations with the local population.
Working with the online bookings companies and to manage the rates etc for the rooms and also to manage the F&B areas to offer great service with quality food and drink available.
Knowledge of managing the costs for labour,cost controls for cleaning products,food and wet gp margins.
Report to the Director of the operation with regular communication through face to face meetings as well as telephone conversations to ensure the business is running to the standards,costs etc to deliver the profits set out in the budget.
