This gastro pub operation with rooms in the beautiful Windermere area are presently looking to recruit for a General Manager to lead and manage the operation.
The venue offers great food and service with a focus on traditional food and using local,seasonal produce from the area and is a popular choice of venue with the locals as well as visitors to the area.
Also this is a period of development and expansion for the operation and so a person with experience of refurbishment and development of a business would also be an asset during this key time.
This is a hands on role to lead the team and to ensure and maintain standards at all times.
The site is open all day and serves a brunch menu as well as an all day dining menu with classics including fish and chips as well as various menu items.
You will work with a team of approx 20 + staff which includes a the kitchen team and also various supervisors to support you and then a mix of full time and casual team members.
Managing also the venue social media and put together a diary of events to attract additional business and to create interest and sales.
Report to the Directors of the operation and as part of this expanding group with potential career development.
