We are working with this superbly appointed 4 star hotel located in the Exeter who are recruiting for a hands on F&B Ops Manager to lead the team and deliver great guest service at all times.

Working with the team to assist and support in the day to day operations and offer training and development to maintain a focused team with clear guidelines on delivery of a high standard of customer service.

Work with the management team and create a positive work environment for all team members and with a focus on the kitchen team relationship.

Ensure and deliver the required sales and financial targets and attend management meetings when required as well a Duty Manager shifts when required.

Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage all aspects of the Food and Beverage department
– Ensure high-quality food and beverage service to guests
– Develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental goals and objectives
– Train, supervise, and motivate staff members
– Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food and beverage areas
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
– Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement best practices

Skills:
– Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
– Culinary knowledge and understanding of food production processes
– Excellent leadership and team management abilities
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
– Exceptional customer service skills
– Knowledge of health and safety regulations
