Deputy General Manager – Manchester

Presently recruiting for this great venue near the city centre of Manchester for a hands on Deputy General Manager to join their business.
The operation offers great facilities which includes approx 70 bedrooms along with multiple event rooms catering for the conference markets as well as exhibitions,events etc for up to 500 guests.
The role is hands on to lead and manage the day to day operation and support the teams and General Manager and ensure a consistent standard of guest service at all times.
You will have knowledge of working large scale events and functions and be able to liaise with the organisers and communicate their needs to the operational teams to deliver a great event and ideally repeat business for the venue.
Working closely with the HOD’s and supporting them day to day and offering additional training and development for each manager and their respective teams.
Good knowledge and vision of being able to focus and plan upcoming events and be able to ensure the right teams are in place to offer 1st class service as well as managing costs to achieve financial targets and sales budgets.
Attend regular meeting when required and supporting the General Manager and deputise in their absence.
