Chef de Partie – nr Nottingham   

This 100 + bedroom group hotel based close to Nottingham are recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team and work with and support the Head Chef.

The operation consists of 120 cover restaurant serving food throughout the day with a casual dining menu and full Breakfast menu served buffet style and also offers a number of M&E rooms with the largest suite for over 200 guests as well various other meeting rooms across the hotel.

The hotel offers generally British menus with popular items including fish & chips,burgers etc and this is available all day and has standard menus with the M&E areas of the hotel for weddings,events,conferences etc.

As Chef de Partie you will work with and support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure a consistent quality within the food and also ensure all food safety and will be working with the kitchen brigade in a hands on role and to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.

You will be able to ensure a consistent quality of food,also you will be working to ensure a 5 star rating on the next inspection working with the Head Chef and kitchen team to achieve this.

Also work consistently towards the food GP margins along with management of stock controls as well as food purchasing.

Reporting direct to the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
