Chef De Partie – nr Malpas/Tarporley area
£27k year plus TRONC in the region of 3/4k per year.
Our client is seeking an experienced CDP to assist the head chef for their operations based in great rural location in Cheshire nr Tarporley/Malpas area.
The client is requiring enthusiastic & motived CDP who can think outside the box to help assist their operations and to develop the food offering to a high standard along side the head chef.
You will be working with an established and settled team of 5 highly skilled chefs & and to create a positive work environment and as part of the community for this well loved local establishment.
As the CDP, ensuring the food is served to the highest of quality, all health & safety aspects of the business are compliant & undertake the training/recruitment of future kitchen team members ranging from KP’s to all levels of chefs in the kitchen.
The business currently caters for 450/500 covers per week in the restaurant and also has events/functions area catering for up to 50 guests for parties/weddings etc.
You will have the ability to have creative input into the menu and working alongside the Head Chef, GM & the Company Exec Chef, creating seasonal menus using all fresh food from local suppliers within 20 miles of the business.
The client requires the chef to work 45 hours per week over 4 days, shift start times can vary depending on the needs and requirements of the business.
Ideally a car or own transport due to location is preferred however this position may also offer live in for the right candidate.
Salary from £26k p.a. with tips £3k per year & paid overtime.
