C&B Manager – East Riding
This group hotel based in central city location are recruiting for a M&E Manager to join their management team.
The hotel has over 100 + bedrooms with casual all day dining restaurant and also offers multiple M&E rooms with the largest function room for over 400 + guests as well as various boardrooms catering from 2 to 100 guests across the hotel.
You will be a hands on manager and able to lead and work with a team of full time and casual team members and always deliver 1st class service whether for a conference,wedding or event.
Ideally you will have working knowledge of managing large teams and events of a similar 400 + size and delegate to your supervisors and be clear with communication about each event and what is required.
Also you will be able to offer training and development for the team to assist and support you in always offering a high standard of service.
In addition you will manage and control your finances for the department this will include wage costs as well as materials for the department and finally be able to upsell to achieve the budget for the hotel and department.
Reporting to the Operations Manager this is a key role in this high profile hotel operation.
