Presently recruiting for this group 4 star hotel located close to Bracknell and Wokingham area for a Business Development Manager.
The hotel the company are looking to recruit this role for is a 130 + bedrooms along with a 100 cover casual all day dining restaurant serving hotel guests for breakfast,lunch and dinner and is also popular in the local area for non residents.
The venue benefits from an onsite car park as well as being close to the main road network in the area so attracts great corporate clients as well as the local market place with the restaurant and bar being a venue of choice.
The hotel has superb C&B facilities which are available in various rooms throughout the hotel with the largest capacity of 200 guests for an event,conference etc.
As Business Development Manager your role is to drive and develop the business in all areas of the hotel with a focus on corporate/MICE and also weekend leisure markets.
The person will be from a similar background with a working knowledge of the local markets and OTA’s and to have the sales skills to secure short term business as well as a strategy for medium and long term business and the ability to connect with previous and lapsed clients.
You will be both field based as well as working from the office at least one day a week and working with the internal sales team and be able to communicate the hotel strategy and rates to offer a quick and efficient response to RFI’s to secure the business for the hotel.
Working closely with the company Sales Director and Hotel General Manager to achieve sales and revenue targets.
