Assistant Restaurant Manager – nr Chester
A 4 star hotel client in a superb location in an idyllic setting of the Cheshire countryside near Chester are recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their team.
The hotel offers great facilities with over 140 + bedrooms and also includes a 150 + cover restaurant,multiple meeting rooms with the largest a capacity of 300 guests as well as various boardrooms dotted across the hotel.
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager your role is to work with and support the Restaurant Manager and restaurant team,manage and lead the team day to day and ensure the highest standards of service at all times is offered to all the guests using this area of the hotel.
You will be supported in your role by the Manager and 3 Supervisors with then a mix of contracted and casual team members.
The hotel has a both large corporate clients and as well attracts the leisure market as well as being a popular location for various events,weddings.
You will work with the team and be the main lead in dealing operationally with guests and offer training and development to all staf to ensure a consistency of standards.
In addition have the knowledge to manage and support the Manager for the liquor stock in your department as well as wage costs and controls and also to train all team members to upsell when possible to achieve the department budget.
