Assistant General Manager – Sheffield area
Presently working with this award winning expanding group who are looking to recruit for an Assistant General Manager to join their management team.
The venue is a hight turnover gastro pub in great rural location and well known for the quality food,drink and great guests service.
The role of Assistant General Manager will be to support and assist the General Manager in the day to day operations of the venue and to ensure a 1st class customer experience at all times.
You will work with and support the team to deliver great service and offer ongoing training and development to all team members this will include full time and casual members of staff.
Good knowledge of food and drink including management of cask ales would be a benefit and also experience of a high volume operation.
Manage in the GM’s absence and also be able to control costs including labour as well as manage stock controls to achieve sales targets and budgets.
This position is based close to Sheffield and will require the person to have their own transport to commute.
Also the opportunity to grow and develop your own career and expand with the group.
