Assistant General Manager – nr Chester
This gastro pub operation with rooms located apprx 20 mins drive from Chester in an idyllic location in the middle of the nearby town are recruiting for an Assistant General Manager Manager to join their team.
Offering a traditional British pub venue along with great beers and superb fresh British food with a modern twist and caters for guests from the local area as well as transient guests as well as people attending events,weddings etc.
As the Assistant General Manager your role is to work with and support the General Manager and the whole team,manage and lead the team day to day and ensure the highest standards of service at all times is offered to all the guests using the venue.
You will be supported in your role by the Manager and 3 Supervisors with then a mix of contracted and casual team members.
The operation is generally catering to the leisure market as well as being a popular location for various events,weddings.
You will work with the team and be the main lead in dealing operationally with guests and offer training and development to all staff to ensure a consistency of standards.
In addition have the knowledge to manage and support the Manager for the liquor stock in your department as well as wage costs and controls and also to train all team members to upsell when possible to achieve the department budget.
£30k,benefits,service charge,quarterly bonus
