£38,000 plus share of tips,company benefits,pension,company discounts,live in available
4 Star Hotel looking for enthusiastic and experienced Sous chef to join a stunning Hotel nr Bracknell area.
The hotel is popular in the local area with the Brasserie and main bar and lounge areas for afternoon teas,cocktails ate and also offers a wide range of weddings and functions.
As a Sous Chef you will need to have a good hotel background that has a good strong conferencing and banqueting experience.
Making sure food is up to standard and is produced on time and also with a control of stocks & GP margins in line with the hotel budget.
Also you will be ordering from hotel suppliers using their online system and maintaining HACCP records accordingly.
Managing & maintaining health and hygiene procedures with all the team and to ensure these standards are followed by all team members.
Running the day to day kitchen operations along with the support of an additional Sous Chef and the kitchen team.
Assisting Executive Chef with recruitment,as well as training and development of all team members and to create a positive work environment and relationship with the F&B team.
Inspire train and develop the kitchen team to be able to develop their careers and also be thorough and well organised.
Approachable at all times by kitchen staff and other hotel team members and to have excellent interpersonal skills.
