Sous Chef – nr Chester

This small group gastro pub based in idyllic village location near Chester are recruiting for a Sous Chef.

The operation consists of a beautifully appointed venue with great food and ales and can seat approx 80 guests offering seasonal,fresh produce and generally local when possible and if best product.

The role of Sous Chef is hands on to lead and support the Head Chef and team and to ensure that at all times the food is of the highest quality.#

The menu offer’s traditional dishes with some modern influences and would be considered a rosette standard operation.

The team consists of Head Chef,Sous Chef and Chef de Parties as well as KP’s with 2 days off together most weeks it is about working as an effective team and to take responsibility for the operation at all times and deputise when Head Chef is off,as well manage costs,stock controls and also achieve a food GP of 70%.
