Sous Chef – Hotel North Manchester 

This group hotel operation based near M60 in North Manchester are recruiting presently for a Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.

The hotel has approx 80 bedrooms and benefits from additional facilities including an 80 cover restaurant serving fresh food with a generally British menu as well as various function rooms with the largest being able to host 150 guests and other conference rooms and as well as full leisure and spa.

As a Sous Chef your role will be to work with and be part of the team and work in various corners of the kitchen and be able to produce a good standard of food in line with the company requirements and SOP’s and also to support the Head Chef in the day to day kitchen management and to ensure food safety standards are maintained as well as achieving required food gp margins and the kitchen costs for wages etc.

Also you will be offered ongoing training and development for your career as well as 2 days off per week and work 5 days over 7 on a rota basis.

The role will suit someone looking for a 1st time Sous Chef appointment and working presently as a Junior Sous.
