Hotel Financial Controller – West Sussex region

We are presently working with this client recruiting for a Hotel Financial Controller to join their team.
The hotel is part of an international group and the hotel boasts the following facilities which includes 150 + bedrooms,large F&B with 10 meeting rooms and the largest with a capacity of 250 guests as well as various other boardrooms catering for both large and smaller meetings.
The hotel restaurant is 120 covers and serves modern British food and also main hotel bar and lounge area.
Additionally the hotel also has full leisure and spa as well as an outdoor activities area for team building.
The role requires an individual of managing the finances of the hotel and with previous experience in the same market to gain a full understanding of how finances work effectively within a large hotel.
Ideally fully qualified or QBE would also be considered and to work with the General Manager and Head Office function to ensure the hotel is working to achieve the sales and revenue targets and also controlling costs within the agreed hotel budget.
You will also work with a small team and to manage and oversee their duties day to day.
This is a key role and the team is presently going through some transition so a great time to start with a new team and to develop and deliver in your role.
