We are presently working with this superbly appointed 1st class luxury hotel located in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside in a superb location.
The client is recruiting for a key role in the hotel which is for a Business Development Manager to join their expanding and developing team.
The key skills for the individual are the following,
The individual to have knowledge of sales within hotels with a focus on developing all areas of the hotel sales and also to further develop the events and weddings markets in the hotel.
Ability and skills to sell the hotel and the facilities to clients and to assist and support the hotel to achieve financial and revenue sales targets,meet with the client and plan hotel show rounds as well as wedding fayres etc.
Assist and work with the Management to plan and target the market to increase sales in the department and to develop this with the hotel management and sales team.
Knowledge of the local markets and able to reach out to the target market to grow interest and invite potential business to the hotel to look at the hotel and services offered.
Provide bespoke packages for weddings and events based on their requirements and to prepare prices to ensure the business.
You will also be working with the senior management of the hotel and with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and packages and also liaise with the General Manage.
