Recruiting for this 4 star boutique hotel in the Chester area for a hands on Head Chef to lead the kitchen team.
The hotel offers a fine dining restaurant serving fresh modern British cuisine with French influences within the 60 cover restaurant and also caters for weddings and events up to approx 150 guests.
As Head Chef you will work with and support the kitchen team and ensure and maintain standards at all times with a consistency of food standards to the guests as well as back of house for food hygiene to work to achieve 5 stars as well as all food safety standards,allergens etc and also to achieve the agreed food GP margins in line with targets.
You will plan and set menus for all areas and work with the team for their input and to keep the menu up to date to attract the hotel guests to dine as well as the local residents in the area and to make a location of choice for diners with innovative dinning experiences.
Working with and supporting the kitchen team through training and development and also as part of the senior management team.
Reporting direct to the General Manager and directors.
£46k,benefits,bonus,potential 4 day working week
