Working with this group hotel who are presently recruiting for a hands on Head Chef to join and lead their kitchen team.
The hotel is in a great location for the local road networks in the area and offers 100 + bedrooms with super F&B facilities which includes a 100 cover restaurant offering a casual all day dining menu as well as various function and events rooms with the largest room catering for over 150 + guests.
The Head Chef role is to work and support and lead the kitchen team in the day to day operations and to ensure and deliver a consistency and quality of the food served to guests at all times.
You will work with the team and offer ongoing training and development to all team members and also create a positive work environment for the kitchen team as well as working in close relationship with the F&B team and the hotel staff and management in general.
Be able to manage all aspects of the kitchen including writing menus for the restaurant as well as for events and weddings,manage kitchen costs and all food safety and hygiene and to achieve a minimum of 4 stars for any EHO inspections.
Report direct to the General Manager and be part of the senior team of the hotel and attend HOD meetings.
