Recruiting for this 4 star hotel based in the North Manchester area close to the M60 for a Head Chef.
The hotel offers 70 + bedrooms and F&B facilities which includes 100 cover casual dining restaurant,as well as C&B for facilities for up to 200 guests in the largest suite as well as other meeting rooms from 10 to 30 covers.
The food is generally all fresh produce using as much seasonal produce as possible and being able to lead and support the kitchen team in the day to day operations for the hotel.
This is a hands on role and offering training and development to team members and will also require other duties including all health and safety,food hygiene,stock controls,food GP margins,allergens etc.
Working as part of the hotel management team it is important to be a great communicator with the other HOD’s and to ensure a positive impact on the guests.
You will also be involved in menu planning for all areas offering food within the hotel and being able to get the right supplies at the right price to achieve agreed GP and also wage cost controls.
Reporting to the Hotel Manager and attend HOD meetings when required.
