Presently looking for a client for a 4 star hotel in the Hertfordshire area for a hands on Head Chef to lead and support the kitchen team and operation day to day.
The hotel has 80 + bedrooms with multiple F&B which includes a 100 cover restaurant serving fresh modern British food,as well caters for events,functions and private parties and also conferences and events for up to 200 guests.
As Head Chef you will work with and support the team through training and development as well as being able to lead and guide during service and shadowing the team to ensure and maintain standards.
Create a positive work environment and to develop strong working relations with the F&B department and all HOD’s within the hotel.
Manage all aspects including stock controls and costs in line with the budgets as well as wage costs etc.
Ensure kitchen hygiene and practices are maintained and also deliver 5 star food safety ratings in line with company policy.
Report direct to the General Manager and attend HOD meetings on a regular basis.
