Hot new vacancy for Head Chef, Chester
Head Chef required for this lovely 4 star hotel in Chester.
The hotel has 50 bedrooms with 50 cover restaurant as well as C&B for up to 150 guest in the largest suite.
You will ideally be from a rosette background as the company are looking to achieve 2 rosettes as soon as possible.
As Head Chef and as part of the senior management of the operation you will have an involvement in the day to day kitchen operations but also with decision making for the hotel and to ensure and create a safe and enjoyable working environment and to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.
You will have involvement in all aspects of the kitchen which will include developing and writing menus,also dealing with suppliers and ensuring you are getting the best produce,also working to achieve the agreed targets which includes Food GP,wage costs and the general hygiene and legal areas of the kitchen.
Reporting direct to the General Manager this role will suit an individual who is looking to move away from central menus,suppliers etc.
£38-42k,bonus and benefits.
