We are presently looking to recruit for this private members club in the heart of rural Cheshire close to Chester that caters to the golfing market as well as having facilities for F&B that includes 50 cover restaurant,events spaces for weddings,parties etc for up to 150 guests and the client is recruiting for a hands on Head Chef to join and lead their kitchen team.
The venue is open year round and is a popular golf course with over 500 members and there is good general use of all facilities with food and drink available throughout the day and this can be from a bacon butty through to a 3 course meal.
The role will suit a Head Chef who can plan and introduce menus or a Senior Sous to take their 1st Head Chef role.
The operation also caters to weddings,private parties and also offers guests a traditional Afternoon Tea.
There is at present traditional British menus using generally fresh produce and this is also same in the events areas but you can plan to design your own menus but to keep the favourites available for the regular clientele.
As Head Chef you are part of the management of the operation and will be working closely with them to ensure a consistent quality of food in all areas and as well working with the kitchen team to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.
You will be able to ensure a consistent high quality of food,also you will be aware of all food safety and hygiene standards at work to ensure a consistent 5 star rating on all food inspections.
Also work consistently towards the food GP margins along with management of stock controls as well as food purchasing.
Reporting direct to the General Manager for the venue and you can also recruit a team to work with you.
