£45k salary plus tips,bonus,pension,company discounts
Presently working with this 4 star hotel close to the centre of Liverpool and recruiting for a Head Chef to lead and join their kitchen team.
The hotel has approx 80 bedrooms offering guest superb facilities including a casua restaurant catering for approx 100 guests as well as various rooms for events,conferences and weddings with a capacity of 200 guests in the function areas of the hotel.
The client is looking for a hands on Head Chef to lead the team in the day to day operations and to manage the kitchen and team.
You will be involved in all aspects of the kitchen and be able to develop and create new menus to attract the clients staying at the hotel as well as being a venue of choice for diners across the city,this will ideally be a modern menu offering great quality food alongside great service provided by the F&B team
You will be working with and leading a team of chefs and KP’s and create a positive work environment for the kitchen and interacting with the front of house department in F&B as well as the rest of the departments in the hotel.
The client is also looking for someone that can develop and train team members as well as recruiting people with the right attitude looking to be part of a growing and developing team and operation and to make the hotel and the food and beverage operations the best in the city.
The main part of the role as Head Chef is to lead lead the team, ensuring the food is served to the highest of quality, all health & safety aspects of the business are compliant in line with legal standards and achieve the 5 stars associated with organised teams.
The client requires the chef to work over 5 days and manage the teams rotas and costs and this will also be for food cost controls to achieve budgets in line with agreed targets.
