General Manager – Glos
This large national hospitality company are presently recruiting for a General Manager to take over the day to day operations at this superbly appointed hotel & food and beverage venue in a town centre location in Gloucestershire.
The business consists of 30 + bedrooms coupled with an outstanding food and beverage offerings and is seen as one a jewel in the crown to the company.
Your role is hands on to lead and manage the business and team day to day and to ensure a deliver in all aspects of the operation with over £1.5 M turnover with a focus on F&B as well as the face and host for the venue.
It attracts the local markets as well as corporate,leisure and general passing trade.
The food served is modern British all fresh produce with a focus on local regional offerings and seasonal with the ability to seat approx 100 diners at any one time and of course open for breakfast,lunch and dinner.
You will have a complete understanding of managing a high profile business and to manage and work with and support the team and offer training and development as well as managing the financial areas of the business which includes the full P&L,manage costs to ensure profit margins are achieved in line with budgets and the control of bed stock and how it is being marketed as well as revenue and finally all health and safety including food.
Reporting to the Operations Director this position will suit and individual who is looking for a new challenge that is already performing to the highest standards and maintain it’s focus.
£50k,no live in,benefits and bonus
