Bar Manager – South Manchester/Cheshire
I am presently looking to recruit for a spectacular high end restaurant and bar in a town centre location close to Manchester and major motorways for a Bar Manager to join the team.
The client is looking for a hands on Bar Manager to work with the team and to manage and control all aspects of the bar and to ensure the service style is maintained but also the costs are also equally important.
So the individual will be from a similar high end background but also have the knowledge and skills to be able to ensure financial targets are achieved which will include wet GP margins as well as wage costs etc.
Also undertook all wet purchasing and and to work to agreed liquor prices from suppliers to ensure targets are met and in the day to day operations of the business.
You will work with and support the team and ensure a high standard of service at all times and be able to offer training and support to all team members and working with the General Manager and team to deliver.
The operation has approx 100 covers with a 30 seat bar as well caters for events and weddings.
In addition it is also important as well as to have the knowledge and experience of high end service you have the financial acumen to control and manage costs in all areas including wages,wet liquor stock etc and work to the agreed targets within the budget.
