Hotel Events Manager - near Dover

We are presently recruiting for a Hotel Events Manager for this 4 star luxury hotel near to Dover on the beautiful South Coast.

The property has been repurposed into this vibrant venue that offers great bedrooms and some unique events spaces in the hotel.

The hotel has over 100 + bedrooms with various public spaces including a 100 cover restaurant,main hotel bar and lounge and a number of rooms available for events,weddings etc and also conference spaces .

The largest room caters for up to 200 + guests and a further room for 150 guests and additional rooms for smaller conferences.

This is a hands-on role where creativity and organisation meet.

You'll be central to delivering consistently high-standard events that reflect the venue’s unique charm and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning and execution of all events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Adapt each event to meet bespoke requirements while upholding a premium standard of service.
• Assist in staffing, scheduling, setup, and client management on event days.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in guest satisfaction and event profitability.

About You

• Previous experience in an events role within a hotel, events venue, or hospitality setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Confident working across multiple departments to deliver a unified guest experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and lead by example during busy event schedules.
