Senior Sales Manager - Manchester

We are presently working with this busy hotel operation based in the South of Manchester and recruiting for a Senior Sales Manager to join their senior management team.

The hotel has over 150 bedrooms along with main hotel restaurant and main hotel bar and lounge,also offers various spaces for conferences and events with the largest space for approx 200 guests as well as on site chargeable car parking.

The key skills for the individual are the following,

Commercially focused sales and with the market knowledge and connections to develop sales within the hotel working with the local and national clients.

Ability and skills to work with the sales team both in the hotel and also as part of the bigger national hotel company,also be able to drive sales and revenue targets to support the hotel and company strategy.

Prepare Forecasts and Budgets for all segments of the business.

Manage relationships with online travel agencies.

Responsible for the strategy to drive rooms and M&E revenue within the business.

Attend weekly online sales calls to discuss targets and potential client wins.

Analysing market information and market trends to support the sales and revenue decisions that will affect the key decisions made for the hotel operation.

Review business plans, identify gaps and meet set targets.

Working to achieve revenue and sales targets and to develop and implement management strategies to optimize pricing and inventory.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams both internally and externally and to develop campaigns and packages and also liaise with the General Manager and senior management team
