Location - Liverpool
Salary - £27,000–£28,000 per year,company benefits

We’re supporting this great hotel operation in Liverpool who are presently recruiting for a key role of Assistant Reception Manager to assist and support and lead the front desk team and nights in this busy 100 bed.

This is a hands-on, guest-facing role, not one for sitting behind a desk. You’ll be at the heart of the hotel’s welcome, leading a strong reception team to deliver fantastic service, make lasting impressions, and ensure every guest receives a warm and memorable stay from check-in to check-out.

About the Role -

You’ll lead by example on the floor, setting high standards, exceptional service, and a proactive, can do attitude.

From managing the day-to-day front desk operation to developing your team and supporting other departments, this is a key leadership role in a lively, fast moving environment.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Lead and motivate the front desk team to deliver outstanding guest service at every touchpoint
  • Support and coach team members to confidently use check-in systems and guest service technology
  • Take ownership of the guest journey from arrival to departure, resolving issues swiftly and professionally
  • Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance and food & beverage teams to ensure a smooth operation
  • Handle staffing rota, departmental communication, and shift briefings
  • Monitor guest feedback and continuously look for ways to enhance the experience

What We’re Looking For -

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality, ideally front office or guest services
  • Strong people leadership skills and the confidence to lead from the front
  • A warm, engaging personality and a true passion for delivering exceptional guest service
  • Great problem solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • A team player who collaborates well across departments
