We are working with this lovely 4 star Liverpool hotel who are presently recruiting for an Assistant F&B Manager to be part of their management team.

This person will oversee and support the day to day operations in all areas of the F&B department in this 100 + bedroom hotel with 120 cover casual dining restaurant,serving breakfast,lunch and dinner and also cater for events and conferences for up to 250 + guests.

You will possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and experience within the hospitality or related sectors such as restaurants or hotels.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse events including conferences,event dinners and ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences at all times.

Reporting to the F&B Manager and assist and support at all times,working in the various areas of the department and to work with the teams in each department as required and also cover days off,holidays etc.

Duties

  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost control whilst maximising guest satisfaction through upselling opportunities.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and smooth operations.
  • Supervise event staff and delegate tasks to ensure efficient service delivery during events.
  • Handle guest services professionally, addressing any issues promptly to maintain a positive experience.
  • Promote upselling of additional services or products to maximise revenue during events.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and implement improvements for future occasions.
  • Maintain organised records of event details, contracts, and client preferences for future reference.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in within hospitality, restaurant, hotel etc.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Experience in guest services and hospitality environments is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
