Presently recruiting a General Manager for this boutique luxury hotel in a superb rural location south of Sheffield approx 20 minute drive and close to the major roads in the local area.

The venue offers bespoke bedrooms with approx 30 rooms in total all individually designed with all the luxuries on offer in a great building with charm and character.

The hotel also offers great food and service throughout and is a popular with both local clients and visitors and also offers a great in house restaurant and bar lounge area as well as catering to weddings,events with a capacity of up to 100 guests in their main room.

The client is looking for a hands on person to lead and work with the operational team to ensure great customer service at all times,also manage the business to ensure to achieve the hotel budget and profit margins agreed.

You will work with and assist the HOD’s to create a positive working environment for all team members including casual and part time staff and offer training and development of the teams and departments including the management team.

Working also with the sales team to drive and develop the room sales and also achieve a suitable ARR and to understand the local markets both corporate and leisure and as well look to develop the events and wedding markets further and for exclusive use as the hotel does have it's own grounds.

You will need to manage the costs for labour,cost controls for cleaning products,food and wet gp margins.

Report to the Director with regular communication through face to face meetings as well as telephone conversations to ensure the business is running to the standards,costs etc to deliver the profits set out in the budgets.
