We are presently working with this beautiful luxury hotel close to the Stockport area in rural location and close to major roads in the area and the hotel is recruiting for a key role in the hotel,this position is for a Hotel Events Sales Manager to join their team.

The key skills for the individual are the following,

The individual to have knowledge of sales in the local markets in the events and wedding sector to drive and develop and increase their wedding bookings as well as their events.

You will have great experience of working in hotel sales and be able to develop a sales strategy to increase the profile of the hotel in this market and increase weddings for the hotel.

This will be driving the events and weddings as well as sales for the hotel and general sales.

Assist and work with the Management to plan and target the market to increase sales in the department and to develop this with the hotel management and sales team.

The duties will also be to do the coordinating of each wedding and to ensure their wedding day is perfect,liaise with the key HOD's of the client's requirements and also upsell to increase sales.

Provide bespoke packages for events and weddings based on their requirements and to prepare prices to ensure the potential business and confirm the bookings.
