Presently working with this client in this beautifully located venue in rural Hampshire near to Andover who are recruiting for a Head Chef to join their operation.

This is a gastro pub operation with rooms as well as space for small intimate events up to 30 guests

This is a great role with the ability to be involved in creating dishes for the menus and and be involved in all of the key aspects of the kitchen and menus offered to clients as the business is well known for offering the highest standard of local,seasonal fresh produce and using all local suppliers .

There are 10 high design led bedrooms that further enhances the venue.

This is a well known and well regarded venue with great food and service and well used by local population and customers travelling to the site as a venue of choice in the local area.

The menu is a modern British with classical dishes with a French influence with traditional items and with a focus on sustainability.

You will be working with a team of chefs and create a positive work environment for the kitchen and interacting with the front of house department.

As Head Chef you will lead the team, ensuring the food is served to the highest of quality, all health & safety aspects of the business are compliant & undertake the training/recruitment of future kitchen team members ranging from KP’s to all levels of chefs in the kitchen.

The client also operates a 4 day working week and 3 days off and this is presently in operation and adds further to a work/life balance, shift start times can vary depending on the needs and requirements of the business.
