Deputy General Manager - Corwen area

We are presently recruiting for a hands on Assistant General Manager for this boutique hotel operation close to Corwen approx 15 minutes drive in one of the areas most picturesque rural locations.
The client is looking for a candidate with knowledge and skills ideally gained from most departments in hotels including reception,housekeeping as well as the F&B departments in the hotel.
The hotel offers approx 50 + bedrooms along with 80 cover hotel restaurant and also main bar and lounge area along with events and function space for 100 guests.
Due to the location the hotel business operates at full capacity during summer months and then local and passing trade at all times of the year,it is a popular location within the local market and has developed a great reputation.
Working as part of the team to ensure and deliver great guest service at all times,support the General Manager and assist to work to achieve the required financial targets and budget.
The key areas of the role include,
Lead the venue and operations during days off and holidays of the General Manager and in their absence.
Support in all departments and work as part of the team to support and be there to offer assistance and guidance.
The direct line reports include HOD's from F&B,housekeeping,reception and then also working closely with finance,sales and the Head Chef and kitchen team.
Provide guidance to junior staff members.
Ensure that high standards and attention to detail are maintained, working with the team to achieve and maintain 5* scores on the doors.
Continuously motivate the team to make sure that the service standards are maintained at all times.
