Assistant General Manager - Andover area
£40k,service charge,company benefits, pension, parking,training,4 day week
We are presently recruiting for a hands on Assistant General Manager for this luxury boutique venue based near Andover in superb rural location.
The client is looking for a candidate with similar experience from a casual fine dining operation with great skills in guest services as well as knowledge of food,wines,drinks etc to enhance the guests senses during their visit.
Also ideally with working skills from hotels,restaurants as well as events,functions and weddings etc.
The operation offers luxury designed bedrooms along with a 80 cover restaurant as well as private dining for 20 guests.
Their food offering is fresh,seasonal and local produce to maximise what is available in the local area and the food is cooked and presented to the highest standards.
The food would also be a modern British menu with a breakfast,lunch and dinner service.
Working as part of the front of house team with a real push to achieve a 4 day working week with then 3/4 days off consecutively for a great work/life balance.
The key areas of the role include,
Lead the venue and operations during days off and holidays of the General Manager and in their absence.
Support with menu developments with the Head Chef and kitchen team,also stock management,wine and drinks knowledge and maintaining a safe and compliant operation.
Provide guidance to junior staff members.
Ensure that high standards and attention to detail are maintained, working with the team to achieve and maintain 5* scores on the doors.
Continuously motivate the team to make sure that the service standards are maintained at all times.
