Sous Chef - Andover area
£40k,service charge,company benefits, pension, parking,training,4 day week
Presently recruiting for a Sous Chef for this luxury boutique venue based near Andover in superb rural location.
The client is looking for an experienced and skilled Sous Chef to join the talented kitchen team at this 1st class venue with knowledge ideally of restaurants as well as events,functions and weddings etc.
The operation offers luxury designed bedrooms along with a 80 cover restaurant as well as private dining for 20 guests.
Their food offering is fresh,seasonal and local produce to maximise what is available in the local area and the food is cooked and presented to the highest standards.
The food would also be a modern British menu with a breakfast,lunch and dinner service.
Working as part of a team of 8 chefs and working to achieve a 4 day working week with then 3/4 days off consecutively for a great work/life balance.
The key areas of the role include,
Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence.
Support with menu development, stock management and maintaining a safe and compliant kitchen.
Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members.
Ensure that high standards and attention to detail are maintained, working with the team to achieve and maintain 5* Scores on the doors.
Continuously motivate the team to make sure that fresh quality food is presented each time.
The Sous Chef plays an integral role in training and development junior team member.
